Visit The Procrastination Zone

Dear Readers,

It’s May already, and I’m looking forward to a two week visit from my daughter and granddaughter, which is why I’m posting my May reader letter a few days early.

ANGEL UNAWARE is completed and at my publishers, and I am looking at a few months of being deadline free. I must admit, however, that, after only a few weeks, my fingers are itching to get back to it and my muse has been pounding on my shoulder to do so. However, I will have to wait until next month to indulge myself.

The next book on my agenda is GARDEN OF THE MOON, an historical, romantic, ghost story set in 1850 Louisiana, north of New Orleans. I am privileged to be able to announce that the book will contain a haiku written by my senior editor at Medallion Press, Helen Rosburg. Though Helen wrote the haiku way before I knew her, it is as if it was written with this book in mind. She very graciously allowed me to use it. GARDEN OF THE MOON is scheduled to be released by Medallion Press in December of 2009.

In the meantime, I’d like to recommend a book by my friend Dolores Wilson called FLIGHT TO FREEDOM. Because this is a departure from her normal style, she wrote this book under the pseudonym D. J. Wilson. FLIGHT TO FREEDOM is the heartbreaking story of a severely abused individual who lives through the atrocities of life and still manages to emerge a strong-willed woman. As another author friend of ours said . . . This book should be required reading for every woman in this situation. It gives hope for a life free of violence and pain and one filled with love and happiness. You can check out all of Dolores’ books at www.doloresjwilson.com

Don’t forget to visit The Procrastination Zone before you leave.

Happy reading!
