Dora makes a lousy angel. Why? Because she was never
destined to be one. Her soul was placed with those of the
angels instead
of the mortals in the Well of Souls. Now,
she's given the opportunity by the Seraphim to go to earth
at Christmas to help a family in dire need of guidance and
prove herself worthy of
being an angel, but more than one
big surprise awaits this angel unaware.
Seasoned romance writer Sinclair (Into the Mist) sends an accident-prone angel to earth in this holiday heart-warmer. After Dora overpolishes a fellow angel's halo and sends another tumbling off a cloud, she begs to become mortal. Her superior angel grants her wish, but only until Christmas, assigning her to act as a nanny to six-year-old orphan Penny and help Penny's uncle, Tony, learn how to love again. Lighthearted humor is interspersed with romance as Dora learns how to drive and cook and earns the affection of her charges. While the burgeoning romance between Dora and Tony is intense, their physical relationship is gently glossed over, a feature that will appeal to many readers of holiday fare. Sinclair's smooth, succinct writing and memorable characters will keep readers engaged all the way to the charming twist conclusion. (Dec.)

Sara Wade has inherited her paternal grandmother’s plantation, Harrogate. Though it’s unheard of for a single woman to live alone in 1850, her mother, who is embarrassed by her daughter’s ability to see ghosts, encourages Sara to go so she doesn't have to explain Sara’s “infirmity” to her friends. Sara, who is more than fed up with being offered up on the matrimonial market to less than desirable prospective husbands, couldn't be happier.
Not until she arrives at Harrogate does she realize that the house holds more than her freedom. It also holds her destiny with the ghost who loved her in another lifetime and is determined to win her back. But all is not peaceful at Harrogate. Another ghost resides there who is just as determined to keep them apart, even if it means killing Sara.

that are determined they will not find their child alive.
But the Navajo gods have a plan.
Before the days of the god, Changing Woman, are over,

REVIEWS
When romance,
suspense, and the lands, legends and traditions of the
Navajo meet the heart and skilled writing talent of
Elizabeth Sinclair, readers are in for an extraordinary
treat. With an undeniable respect for the Diné
that shines through on every page and with a tingle
of the paranormal and the wonder of romance, Eye of
the Dream tells of loves lost and loves found and it
is guaranteed to be on your “keeper” shelf
for years and years to come.

Berkley/Jove
(EYE OF THE DREAM)
is an exciting second chance at love paranormal romance
that grips readers ... until the final confrontation.
The action-packed story line uses Navaho mysticism on
two levels; the evil Skinwalkers and the dreams the
lead couple have had especially transmitted from his
grandfather and Changing Woman. These elements along
with the likable lead couple enhance and refresh a delightful
tale.

This page-turner
never lets up on the excitement. The beauty and danger
of the Arizona desert is conveyed with amazing clarity:
Readers almost feel as if they are there. Also, the
relating of the Navajo ways, the visions experienced
by both Laura and Kaine and the search for not only
Peter but also their lost love are blended into a beautiful,
flowing story that's almost impossible for readers to
put down.

THE EYE OF THE
DREAM is a paranormal romance with a strong sense of
danger, and has all of the elements necessary for a
great read, a fantastic plot with the threads well tied
together, characters who make you care about them, and
an author who clearly put a lot of thought into her
story. Brava Elizabeth! I highly recommend that you

Sinclair pens
a heartwarming, inspirational story of forgiveness,
acquired wisdom, and the importance of embracing one's
heritage. The Navajo spirit is beautifully rendered
here, shining brightest in Laura and Kaine's reawakening
love. For readers looking for paranormals without the
bloodshed of action romance, this is a must-read.
